Surprise announcement: After much thought and consideration, I've decided to once again publish Scribe & Quill's e-zine for writers in 2017. The first issue will be released in January.

For those who aren't familiar with the history of Scribe & Quill, I launched the e-zine 1997 and published it for over 16 years. While talking with my husband Paul the other day, he mentioned that I seemed happier when I was publishing Scribe & Quill. He was right.

Here's to new beginnings in 2017 – including one for S & Q.

Oh, one more thing. That's not me in the pic. But it IS a photo of Helen Gurley Brown, the first editor I ever admired. She was EIC of Cosmopolitan for 32 years. She died in 2012, but her legacy lives on.
